What an experience we had in Feile 2017. As hosts, key venue and participants, we were lucky enough to be positioned right in the cockpit of this competition last weekend and what an experience it was. Our Under 14 lads had a great start to the event, with wins over Enniskillen Gaels and Mayobridge, before the increased intensity against our friends from St Brigids Roscommon and then Coralstown Kinnegad proved to be too big of a challenge for our lads on Saturday. Then came Super Sunday at Canon Maguire Park as we hosted four semi finals and four All Ireland finals with Castleknock and Mayobridge emerging as Cup and Shield winners from Division Three, plus wins for St Mogues Fethard in Wexford and St Ciaran's Roscommon in Division Seven. It proved to be a genuinely enjoyable and uplifting experience for our club. We can only thank our host families, who took in young fellas from St Brigids and made real friendships with them over the weekend, and the other group to acknowledge is the massive volunteer effort over the months, weeks and days leading up to the Feile, and then over the weekend itself. It was a tremendous display of teamwork and selflessness from a massive number of contributors of all ages to prepare and deliver the way we did. Thank you very much.

Our Under 14 season has ended now, so thank you to them and their coaches Aidy, John, Donal and Nigel for their commitment over a long season. We have had a good year overall, for sure, as these young players' development continues.
