Harps Notes 4th March 2019

The club's March monthly committee meeting takes place on Thursday night at 9pm in the clubrooms.

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £4700, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 1, 15, 22 and 23. £20 each went to Mary Bonner, Springfield, The Corrigan Children, Blackslee, and Damien Dundas, Derrygonnelly. We are in Linnet Inn Boho this Sunday night, with Gerry Gallagher, Peter Jones and Mary Cox on duty.

A busy weekend already for a number of our teams. Our Under 14 boys and girls teams were off at blitzes in Tyrone on Saturday. Our girls were in Drumragh, and the boys were in Fintona. Thanks to our coaches who gave up their day to look after the teams. We were well looked after by our hosts as well, in very hardy conditions. Our Under 14 girls play Ballyshannon in a home friendly this Saturday.

Our Health and Wellbeing programme continues with Eazy on the Kneezy proving very successful on Mondays at 11.00. We have Development training for boys at 6.30, followed by Teen-Fit for girls at 7.45. Yoga is on in two sessions on Wednesday evening at 7pm and 8.15 pm for beginners and more advanced groups. Finally, our popular G4M&O circuits are on Thursdays from 8 – 8.45pm.

Thanks also to everyone who was on duty again last Sunday as we hosted our second Ladies NFL tie. It takes a lot of volunteers to cover the various roles around hosting these games. Good luck also to our Senior Ladies who have their first league game this Saturday evening against Kinawley.

It was with sadness that we heard of the passing of Mr Hugh Stewart of Glenullin and Portstewart last weekend. We extend our sympathies to the Knight family on their bereavement.
