Harps Notes 31st August 2017

The Lotto jackpot, now £9500, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers were 2, 15, 22 & 30. £20 each went to Liz Maguire, Garrison, Catherine Boyle, Monea, and Rosaleen O’Brien, Garrison. We are in Doogies this Sunday night, with Adrian McGovern, John Maguire, and Mary Cox on the controls.

It was a week of draws for three of our teams last week. Our seniors had a well contested draw with Erne Gaels on Friday night. The juniors earned a vital point from their match against Enniskillen Gaels, and thereby qualified for the league final against Teemore this Sunday at Brewster Park at 4pm. Good luck lads! Our seniors are at home to Roslea this Friday evening at 8pm.

At underage level, our Under 12s played out a great draw against Kinawley last Tuesday evening, a real thriller. Both sets of players contributed hugely to this enjoyable match. There is a bit of a gap now  before one last Section A game against Irvinestown, on August 19th, then the leagues are re-organised.

Our Under 16 girls had a great performance in their championship semi final on Saturday against Tempo. They have now qualified for the final, provisionally scheduled for the weekend of August 12th or 13th.

We took both our Under 8s and Under 10s to Lissan for the Go Games Blitzes on Saturday, and the two groups enjoyed their games greatly. Thank you to the coaches who looked after the teams.
