The Harps Lotto was not held until Tuesday 28th this week. Results will be in next week's notes and available via our online output. We are in The Cosy Bar this Sunday night with Pat McGurn and Michael Glynn on duty with Mary. Please note that old pound coins are no longer taken as valid entries in the Lotto. We are very grateful for the ongoing support and promotion of the Lotto, it is the main way in which we finance our activities.

It might be off season for the Harps, but we still have a busy week ahead, commencing with our Youth presentation evening which takes place on Saturday at 5pm sharp. The main business of the evening will be the presentation of medals to our Under 10, Under 14 and Under 16 girls, and Under 16 boys, plus the presentation of the Spirit of Damian Award to one of our Minor players, but we are keen to emphasise that every single underage footballer in the club, girls and boys is invited to this event, with their parents. So any Under 8, or Under 12 or Minor is most definitely invited to come to the event. We will have a momento for everyone, to remember the 2017 season, and very light refreshments will be provided. We have a few very eminent guests coming, and hope that as many people as possible will come to acknowledge a fantastic year.

Our Ladies team finally reached the end of their season on Saturday evening, when they lost out in their league final against Kinawley on a 2-10 to 1-11 scoreline in what was obviously a match that was closely contested. The commitment shown by the girls to stick at their training for the whole season, particularly over the last number of months was a credit to them and it is a pity that it didn't get its reward. Thank you very much to Niall Elliott for his efforts with this group.

Other dates to mention are our upcoming club AGM on December 7th in the clubrooms. All club members are welcome to attend this meeting. Our Dinner Dance has been booked for February 17th. It is also provisionally planned to commence our athlete development sessions next Tuesday, fuller details via our online output and from the 2017 management teams.

Finally, it was with sadness that Harps members heard of the passing of Mrs Rose Corrigan, Coranerk on Sunday. We offer our sincere condolences to the entire Corrigan family at a sad time.
