The Harps' Lotto jackpot, now £8100 was not won on Sunday night. The numbers were 16, 21, 29 & 30. £20 each went to Eileen McKenzie, Mamie Leonard, both Boho, and Ciaran McGovern, Monea. The draw on Monday night April 17th saw numbers 11, 24, 25 & 27 drawn and £20s went to Din Gallagher, Denzil Jones both Boho and Geralyn Cox, Derrygonnelly. We are in Old Pals this Sunday night, with Garry, the Kevins and Mary on duty.
Our three adult teams were on the pitch again last weekend, with our seniors and Junior A squads recording good wins, whilst our Junior B squad lost out to Erne Gaels. All three teams are out again this weekend with our Junior A squad away to Kinawley and the Junior Bs at home to Brookeboro on Saturday evening, plus our seniors at home to Devenish on Sunday at 1pm again.
At Underage level, it is a busy time, with our Under 14s having been out twice last week in the Feile, losing to Derrylin in the Group 1 semi on Saturday, and then to Kinawley in the playoff. Both games were very competitive, and the group can get a result with small improvements in their teamplay for sure. They are away to Kinawley this Thursday evening at 7pm. Thank you to Sean Flanagan, and all of those involved with hosting the Feile twice last week. Our Minors have had a frustrating period in which they haven't been getting many games for a variety of reasons. They are scheduled to be at home versus St Joseph's next Tuesday evening at 7pm.
Sunday Morning Footy continues every week now, and we are very grateful to our coaches who shape these sessions up every week, plus parents who step in as helpers, making all the difference. Our Under 10s host Aodh Rua Ballyshannon this Friday night at 7pm, players to be at the pitch for 6.30pm.
We also took a group of players from our Primary schools to Croke Park last Friday for a GAA Littlewoods Go Games Activity day, and all of our youngsters had a fantastic day on the pitch , during the stadium tour and in the hotel on the way home. It was a long day for our volunteers who gave up their day to make the event happen, so thank you very much to Gavin, Brendy, Nigel Harbinson, and Niall & Keira Elliott.
Meanwhile, preparations by both organisers and participants for our much awaited Four County Cycle on May 13th are continuing. Our jersey design is complete and has been very well received, all 100k entrants receive the jersey, and it is available to 50k entrants or indeed 10k cyclists to purchase. Please note that we are coming close to the cutoff for the early bird reduced entry fee, so get online via the Harps website and get registered for what will be a great event!
