Harps Notes 23rd April 2018

posted 23 Apr 2018, 03:06 by Derrygonnelly Harps

Next week's Harps Lotto jackpot is £3600, with Peter, Gerry and Mary on duty in the Linnet Inn. Last Sunday's numbers were 13, 15, 23 & 29 with £20 wins to Giles Hill c/o Kevin Cassidy, Maeve O'Donoghue and Shane O'Donoghue, San Francisco.

It was a very busy week for our adult teams last week as our thirds had no reward for great efforts against Belnaleck and Devenish, our seniors had two good solid wins against St Pats and Lisnaskea while our Reserves also had a good win against St Pats. Our ladies had a second win of their season against Ederney. Our seniors are away to Kinawley on Sunday, while on Saturday the Thirds are away to Aghadrumsee and our Reserves host Erne Gaels.

At underage level, our Under 15s lost out to Derrylin last Thursday, coming out the wrong side of a grandstand finish. Our Under 12s played in a blitz on Sunday with the outcome being that they have been placed in Division 2 and start out their campaign away to Teemore on Thursday evening. Our Under 14 girls played in the Under 14 feile Blitz on Saturday.

Finally, it was with sadness that Harps members heard of the passing of Mr John Toal, Killyclogher, last week. Sympathies are extended to the Gallagher family, Boho on their bereavement.
