Harps Notes 21st Oct 2019

posted 21 Oct 2019, 02:51 by Derrygonnelly Harps

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £6000, was not won on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 1, 11, 19 and 27. £20 each went to Niamh Carroll, Derrygonnelly, Kenny Sweeney, Blaney, and Conor King, Tempo. We are in Old Pals this Sunday night, with Garry, the two Kevins, and Mary on the controls. Thank you very much to everyone for your ongoing support of the Lotto. That is what sustains our activities from Under 6 to Senior.

We had a great day for our club on Sunday when the Harps went up the Whiterock Road to Corrigan Park, and took our first ever away win in the Ulster Club championship. Congratulations to the squad and team management, and it was great to see so many Harps, home based and otherwise, at the match to cheer the team on. Next up is Trillick at Brewster Park on November 4th.

Finally, good luck to Kinawley Ladies and club as they head to the Ulster Final against St Pauls this Saturday. They are setting a fine standard for other clubs to work towards and a rising tide lifts all boats so all the best to them.
