Harps Notes 21st May 2019

posted 21 May 2018, 04:22 by Derrygonnelly Harps

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £4400, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers were 1, 14, 16 & 20. £20 each went to Grainne Duffy, Monea, Paddy Duffy, Derrygonnelly and Jackie Doogan & Gary Hoy, Monea. We are in The Cosy this Sunday night. Brendy, Aidy and Mary are on duty.

Our Under 15s finished up their league campaign on Sunday night, putting in a good shift, but coming up short against Newtownbutler. They have been most competitive in their games, and have made further progress as a group over the course of the competition. Next outing for them is next Thursday against Lisnaskea in the championship. Our Under 10s had their second game of the competition against Belnaleck last Friday, and all players did very well. We are scheduled to travel to Devenish this Friday night.

Our two reserve teams lost out to Enniskillen Gaels and Brookeborough on Friday night. They are at home to Roslea and away to Derrylin this Saturday evening. At the time of writing, it seems that there will not be any senior game for club players this weekend. The game for club players scheduled for last weekend was pulled as well. According to the published schedule, we are due to play Erne Gaels away on the evening of June 1st.

Our Ladies had a very hard fought win away to Irvinestown on Sunday, emerging on the right side of a 2-15 to 6-2 scoreline. They have been involved in a number of very entertaining games this year.

Fermanagh Under 20s are in championship action against Armagh this Friday evening at Brewster Park. Best wishes to all players and mentors who have prepared for this game, especially our own Shane McGullion, who is part of the panel. Similarly, many congratulations to the Fermanagh Senior panel on their victory last Saturday, and good luck to them preparing for the Ulster semi against Monaghan.
