The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £3200, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 15, 22, 26 and 29 with £20 each going to the Rosies from Derrylin Centra, Cormac Duffy, Monea and Kyle Warnock, Ballyconnell. The big news from the draw held on January 14th was the jackpot win of £8200 for Gerard Maguire on numbers 2, 7, 16 and 21. Congratulations Boots! We are in Doogies this Sunday night. With Donal, Gerard and Mary on duty.

As our season takes place, our youth section is having a full meeting this Sunday night at 6.30pm in the clubrooms. All coaches, parents or anyone who might be interested in helping out in the youth section of the club in any way is more than welcome to come along and hear what’s happening.

Similarly, our Ladies’ Committee will hold a meeting at 9pm in the clubrooms on Thursday night January 30th. Anyone with an interest in girls’ or ladies’ football in the club is asked to attend.

Promoters have by now all received their allocation of GAA National Club draw tickets. There are 20 prizes to be won in this fantastic draw, with all profits made going directly to the promoting clubs. This year’s top prize is a Renault Clio, with a further nineteen prizes including Croke Park Concert or  All Ireland weekend packages, €1000 shopping vouchers and more. All support for our club’s fundraisers is very much appreciated, as is the promotion work by our members to make these initiatives successful for us.

The club is participating in this initiative which is a partnership between the GAA, Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking.  Our floodlights will be turned on each Thursday from 7-8pm for 8 weeks. We invite everyone from the community to get together and socialise in a healthy way on these dark winter nights by using this opportunity to walk around the main pitch.  A torch or head torch and high vis clothing is recommended.  Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Our girls Teen Fit class is back up and running on Thursdays from 7-7.45pm, with coach Jackie Cassidy.  This is open to all secondary school girls at a cost of £1 per class. Any parents dropping children off can also keep healthy by joining in our Ireland Lights Up walking Initiative!
