Harps Notes 1st October 2018

In fairness, we can only start this week's notes with a great day for our club in Brewster Park on Sunday. Congratulations to our Under 17s and seniors on two great performances. To our players and team managements, you have done us proud again. Our seniors are out again in a league semi-final against Kinawley this weekend, with details of our U17 championship match against Enniskillen Gaels also due out by midweek. Good luck to both teams in these matches.

Commiserations to our Ladies team which lost out to Trillick in the Ulster Club championship on Saturday. They are a fine team, but our girls had their moments, and have two competitions to finish out yet. Thank you to everyone who helped out as a volunteer last weekend with stewarding etc.

Well done to our Under 11s who travelled to Aodh Rua on Saturday and came home with the shield after five tough games. Francy and Gavin then took the lads for an extended tour of Ballyshannon that afternoon. It's hard to beat a few hours of overtime!

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £8200, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 13, 14, 27 and 28. £20 each went to Lena McGurn, Main Street, Paddy Flanagan, Dresternan and Paddy McKenna, Shean Road. We are in Old Pals this Sunday night, with John Murphy, Gavin Duffy and Mary Cox on the controls.
