Harps’ committee meeting this Thursday night at 9pm in the clubrooms.

The Lotto was held on Monday night, results will be in next week’s notes. The Lotto results from Monday June 4th were numbers 2, 10, 19 and 23. £20 each to Tadhg Jones, Jackie Love, both Derrygonnelly and Teresa Walmsley, Enniskillen. John Ferguson, Eamonn Greene and Mary Cox are on duty in the Cosy this Sunday night.

Congratulations to our Minor team and management Paul Greene, Peter Jones and Michael Glynn on a fantastic MFC win against Enniskillen Gaels on Saturday evening. This was a fine game with intensity, last gasp defending at times, intelligent tactical play and top quality forward play from both teams. Well done again lads! Thank you also to our team sponsors Derrygonnelly Credit Union.

Our Under 15 campaign came to an end on Thursday last in the championship against Derrylin. We had ourselves in a good position at half time, but couldn’t sustain the performance levels for the second half. Nonetheless, it has been a good campaign in many respects, with a number of the players continuing their development as footballers. Thank you to Garry Smyth, John Duffy and Dermot Burns for their commitment and work with the group. Thank you also to our team sponsors Gerald Love Contracts.

Our seniors had a victory against Devenish on Sunday, and they are at home to Erne Gaels this Friday night. Our Reserves had a reasonable performance and win against Tempo on Friday last, and are down to play Kinawley on Saturday evening at home. This is an important game in a very competitive division.  Our Thirds are scheduled to play Maguiresbridge this Thursday at 8pm at home, and travel to Belnaleck on Saturday evening.

Congratulations to our local CCE branch on their successful hosting of a second County Fleadh on the trot. We were delghted to take part in the parade and display our MFC trophy. Thanks to Gavin and his team who put together our float, with special mention to Martin Brennan for the use of his jeep and trailer, plus John Murphy who piloted us round the town.
