Harps News 17th February 2020

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £4000, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 8, 10 18 & 21. £20 each went to Fidelma Greene, Belleek,  Ann McDermott, Derrylin, and Teresa Walmsley, Enniskillen. We are up in The Linnett Inn, Boho, on Sunday night, with Gerald Greene, Anthony Murphy and Mary Cox on duty.

Unfortunately, activities at Canon Maguire Park fell victim to the storms last weekend, with the Fermanagh versus Roscommon Ladies match called off on Saturday, and the same fate befalling the Under 19 tie against Tempo. This weekend sees our Under 19s away to Kinawley on Sunday at 1pm. Thank you to all of the volunteers who turned up to help out on Saturday.

Finally, it was with sadness that our club membership heard of the passing of Mr Frank Ferguson, of Kinlough last weekend. Mr Ferguson was the brother of our Underage team sponsor Lena McGurn. Older members of the club may remember Sean Carroll from Rossinuremore, who played for our club in the 1950S, and actually represented Fermanagh at County Minor level. Sean died in Northampton recently. So we express our condolences to the families of both of these men.
